Climbing Station is the UK’s first specialist indoor bouldering centre, located in Pontypridd, South Wales. The centre first opened its doors in Autumn 2010.
EZFacility was installed from the day one. The main purposes of the system was to act as a client database, membership management tool, point of sale and equipment hire management system.
EZFacility was installed on all the reception desks at Climbing Station, and integrated with our new website to allow prospective members to sign up and pay online. Integration with a Merchant Account (provided my Optimal Payments) allowed Climbing Centre to process credit and debit card payments through EZFacility and our website seamlessly. In addition payments for equipment hire, sale of sundry items such as harnesses, helmets and climbing shoes were also subject to Merchant Account integration.
The Equipment Hire module allowed climbing centre to track the movements and ownership of 100% of its rental equipment. Tracking the most heavily used equipment via EZFacility’s integrated reporting allowed Climbing Station staff to identify equipment coming to the end of its working life and replace where necessary to meet stringent health and safety regulations.
To summarise, EZFacility has provided an all in one solution (including the provision of all hardware, cash drawers, receipt printers, card scanners etc) and streamlined the everyday running of the business. We’d be lost without it!
