Blackburn Rovers Community Trust has a number of pitches and resources (both indoor and outdoor) based at their Ewood Park location. The pitches are used for the provision of 5 and 7-A-Side football leagues, daytime and after school education bookings, private bookings, projects and general community use. In addition they provide pool cars, staffing, classrooms and coaches across two locations.

Originally log books and spreadsheets combined with outlook were used to manage the centre. The number of different systems in place caused a great deal of confusion for staff and customers, leading to some double booking issues and a number of issues regarding calculating income (who owed what) on a daily basis.

EZFacility and EZLeagues were installed at the Trust’s premises in Early 2010. The benefits were instant. Bookings were clearly displayed and linked to outstanding revenue per customer. The schedule was no longer recorded on various bit of paper in different locations. All data was now stored on EZFacility. The web based nature of the product allowed numerous different access points to view schedules and financials relating to clients and facility usage.

In addition Blackburn’s leagues for 5 and 7-A-Side were hosted on EZFacility and I-framed onto their website. This allowed the staff to input results and fixtures on EZFacility, which updated their website instantly, giving clients their league standings/fixtures/scores in real time.

Support and training provided by the EZFacility team was readily available both in person and over the phone via web meeting (with no extra charges for additional training sessions or visits). This helped immensely whenever any new staff were brought onboard.

Overall the software has helped streamline the entire operation of Blackburn Rovers Community Trust as well as providing in depth financial reporting. This in turn has helped refocus efforts in the areas that required it most. Both staff and clients have benefited a great deal as a result.
